The EDGE® stubby gas lens Pyrex cup kit for 17, 18, and 26 Series TIG torches comes in a compartmentalized box and includes one each of the following items:
EDGE Welding Supply Pyrex Cup Recommendations:
♦ The EDGE adapter and EDGE cup must be fully seated onto the Teflon heat/thermal shield.
♦ For use with DC only and up to 180A unless using pulse settings.
♦ Best used with metals such as Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Inconel.
♦ The #10 EDGE Pyrex cup can be used to weld aluminum based material, but only in short runs.
♦ Can be used with any size and type of tungsten.
♦ The 'walking the cup' technique is not recommended with Pyrex cups (walking the cup causes premature cup failure).
