The MIG 200i features an incredible arc dynamic, which makes the MIG 200i suitable for any kind of wire and for any material thickness from 26 gauge up to 1/4"! With the MIG 200i, you can weld in manual mode or in synergic mode with Easy Set™ technology. The Easy Set feature makes set up a breeze by automatically setting your welder, in a couple of simple steps, to the correct parameters; to weld in synergic mode, simply press the Easy Set button to select the appropriate wire diameter and then use the Wire Speed knob to select your material thickness. A simple polarity reversal allows you to weld with gas (solid wire) or without gas (flux-cored wire). The MIG 200i also features manual wire feed, manual gas purge, start speed adjustment, as well as sophisticated, electronic overheat protection to prevent damage to your machine.
When you purchase a MIG 200i, the package includes the power source, a 10' 15 Series MIG welding gun, a 10' ground cable and clamp assembly, a flowmeter, and a 6' gas hose. A lightweight and compact design makes the MIG 200i extremely portable and an excellent choice for work on the jobsite and in the shop. We back the MIG 200i with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and a 3-year warranty.
We do not have a spool gun option for the MIG 200i. If you are interested in a welder with a spool gun option, please look into the MTS 210, the Pro Pulse 220 MTS, or the Pro Pulse 300.

this machine is exactly what i was looking for for smaller thinner projects-i leave it set up for .023 wire
very nice arc and easy setup and adjustable
I am absolutely thrilled by this welder!! I just was able to weld a thin 20 gauge piece of metal in a long continuous bead and did not burn thru.
Try doing that with most other welders!! Move over Miller 211. This thing just screams quality, everything down to the ground clamp.
The mig 200 is a great machine for the money. No hiccups yet. One thing I will say is that you will have to order another roller die separately to run .025 wire in this machine. It was only like 20 bucks but wish it would have been mentioned in the description.
High quality gun and ground clamp. Best I’ve seen on similar machines. Has great range for welding thin to at least 3/8 inch. I run on 40 amp break and had no issues. For the price, it is probably the best machine on the market. I’m proud to run This machine by HTP and in the future purchase a few more.
I like this welder a lot. There are only a few things that turn me off a bit. First the post gas seems to be far longer than stated in the manual. The manual claims 0.5s, but it is easily several seconds. The manual also states this isn’t adjustable.
Next, the spool adapter for large spools is a piece of pvc cut crooked and with a poorly applied label. I’m glad it came with this instead of needing to make one of my own, but at the same time it didn’t instill too much confidence.
I have used the machine for a few projects on the farm so far and am really enjoying it. I would buy again.
