Before purchasing a refurbished gas bottle/gas cylinder from us, we strongly recommend that you check with your local gas distributor to make sure they will fill the bottle. Many times, gas distributors will not fill bottles that you own or that you did not purchase from them directly. Let them know you have a 55 cu ft, DOT or ICC approved cylinder rated as 3A1800 or 3AA1800 and valved CGA-580 for Argon or Argon/CO2 mixtures, and they will tell you if they will fill the bottle or not.
All gas bottles/gas cylinders ship empty. If you are local to the Chicago area, you can pick the bottle up at our Elk Grove Village facility. If you would like the bottle filled with 75% Argon/25% CO2 or 100% Argon, we can fill the bottle for you, on the spot, for $26.36 (plus tax). If you bring in another small cylinder that you already own and want filled, we can fill that also.

This tank arrived fast, in great shape and when I took this little 60 to be filled (They don't fill tanks this small at most places.... it's a swap) they gave me an 80. I've been back to have that filled a couple times now. This is a very good setup.
