The MicroCut 875SC's unmatched arc stability and power allows you to cut material up to 1/2" thick at 45 amps, all day long, with 100% duty cycle. Set up with a standard 14-pin connector, the MicroCut 875SC features an Arc OK signal and torch voltage signal (50:1 signal) to run a torch height controller. With the MicroCut 875SC, the maximum rated CNC pierce capacity is 1/2"; the cut speed at 1/2" material thickness runs at 16 IPM. To use your MicroCut 875SC CNC on your plasma table, simply install your CNC machine torch, plug in your table, and switch the cutter into CNC mode. The MicroCut 875SC CNC does not include the 14-Pin Mating Connector (P/N 64672).
To get the best cutting capacity, fastest cutting speeds, and longest consumable life out of your CNC plasma cutting applications, we highly recommend using our HTP Max Dry desiccant air dryer system (P/N 25310-2). Dry air is a necessity when running a CNC with a torch height controller.

875SC plasma cutter
I purchased my plasma cutter approx 3 years ago and have had great experience using it with no issues. I have cut thin metal upto 3/4" with no problems. The drag tip has made it very easy to cut intricate shapes with precision. Overall this machine has been a workhorse and paid for itself over and over. I would recommend it for anyone who cuts metal on a regular basis. The people at HTP are very helpful if you need consumables or just questions.

When I made the decision to upgrade from a budget plasma cutter to something that could keep up with my shop's needs without constant maintenance, I was after a 40+ amp machine. Looking at duty cycles in the ~$2,000 machine range, the MicroCut won that fight by a long shot! Watching my friends in the CNC Plasma world design jobs with pauses in them to accommodate a low duty cycle is infuriating, especially knowing they paid more than I did for the machine. It's all only made better by the inexpensive, but NOT cheap consumables (I am getting approximately 1.5k pierces and 10k inches of cut per $9 consumable pair in 10ga, and about 50% more than that in lower-tolerance jobs). Now with over 1,000 sheets of steel through my CNC plasma table with the MC875, primarily 14ga to 3/16", amounting to over 5 million inches of cut (~80 miles), I have no regrets on the choice I made, enough that I bought a second machine for hand cutting as the main one stays so busy! Cons? You'll probably want to upgrade the ground clamp if you're going to be toting the machine around to jobsites or the like. It's plenty stout for a stationary setup though.
