The Optrel® Weldcap combines the lightweight wear comfort of a baseball cap with the full protection of an auto-darkening welding helmet. Optrel's Weldcap feels soft where you need to be comfortable and rigid where you need protection (the Weldcap meets the ANSI Z87.1 standard for impact resistance). With a nose cutout which brings the lens closer to your eyes, the Weldcap also features an extensive field of view that expands your line of sight by 2.7 times. The increase in lateral and horizontal fields of view improves performance and safety.
The Weldcap's flexible design enables you to access confined spaces without hindrance. Weighing less than 14 ounces, the Weldcap fits like a baseball cap, brings the lens closer to your eyes, and enables the Weldcap to sit more comfortably on your head, which improves the overall stabiltiy and balance of the Weldcap and eliminates unnecessary pressure and neck strain.
This helmet does not have a cheater lens/magnifier option-you can wear glasses underneath the weldcap.
