Outside insulator failed on first tank of argon

The torch itself was great, especially with the flex head. The problem I had was with the red rubber insulator around the torch at the "T". After a few hours of welding aluminum @250A with the Revolution 2500, the rubber split and caused an overall failed torch, requiring me to purchase another. I'm hoping it's a fluke, but based on the other review, I think this could be a continued problem.

    Heavy Hitter Review

Torque does great with handling the upper limits of an air cooled WP-26 sized torch, but the red covering/insulator is coming loose around the head some and was from day one. Still using it, but I have to be sure to keep everything tight to keep the shielding cup sealed.
