Optrel® Crystal 2.0
Welders, meet Crystal 2.0, the recently unveiled, newest addition to Optrel's innovative and stellar helmet lineup. With Crystal 2.0, Optrel beat their own record light-state shade level of 2.5 (as seen on the Panoramaxx and Vegaview 2.5) and absolutely crushed the industry standard light-state shade level of 4.0. With a 2.0 light-state shade level, Crystal 2.0 offers 31% light transmission, compared to 5% light transmission offered by competitors. A 2.0 light-state shade level offers you a crystal clear, unclouded view of your working environment, which, in turn, provides you with a safer, more efficient working environment.
Crystal 2.0 also features a Twilight function, which allows you to adjust how slowly Crystal 2.0 switches from dark to light when you extinguish an arc, a True Color Filter (a UV/IR filter), which enables you to clearly and easily see your welding equipment LED through the helmet lens in realistic color, infinite shade level selection from a shade level 4 to a shade level 12, and infinite, adjustable sensitivity, including what Optrel calls "super high" sensitivity. Like her predecessor, the Panoramaxx, Crystal 2.0 features an Autopilot function, which enables fully automated shade adjustment from shade level 4 to shade level 12, but also offers individual calibration of +/- 2. In Autopilot mode, a 3-sensor array detects the arc's brightness and automatically adjusts the shade level accordingly.
Two replaceable Lithium batteries (CR2032) and solar cells, along with a light-weight design—Crystal 2.0 weighs in at only 18.7 oz—ensures nearly endless hours of crystal clear, comfortable welding. Suitable for all welding applications, as well as plasma cutting and grinding, and compatible with Optrel's hard had adapter and e3000 PAPR system.
