Description:
EDGE® large diameter gas lens Pyrex cup kit. The kit includes one each of the following: a #12 gas lens Pyrex cup (P/N GL920-P12D), a #15 gas lens Pyrex cup (P/N GL920-P15D), and a #18 gas lens Pyrex cup (P/N GL920-P18D). The #12 cup measures 0.75" x 0.75" x 1", and the #15 cup and the #18 cup each measure 2" x 2" x 2". The cups work with a 9/20 Series gas lens, as well as with a 17/18 Series stubby gas lens when used with P/N GL920-A. Kit available with or without adapter P/N GL920-A.
EDGE Welding Supply Pyrex Cup Recommendations:
♦ The EDGE adapter and EDGE cup must be fully seated onto the Teflon heat/thermal shield.
♦ For use with DC only and up to 180A unless using pulse settings.
♦ Best used with metals such as Stainless Steel, Titanium, Inconel, Nickel based, and thin aluminum based.
♦ Recommended for use with 1/16", 3/32", and 1/8" tungsten. The 1/16" diffuser must not exceed 90A DC because of potential damage to the diffuser.
♦ The tungsten can be extended out of the cup, up to 3", for clearance in a controlled environment.
♦ The 'walking the cup' technique is not recommended with Pyrex cups (walking the cup causes premature cup failure).
