HTP is moving full speed ahead at 88 mph. Of course, you might think that this is a little slow by today's standards. Lots of factory sports cars these days easily have 500hp in some cases way more!
A lot of our customers and some of the more seasoned welders have a nostalgic soft spot in their heart for the classic transformer machines. All the new screens, menus and buttons – a lot of guys argue that this is not really an improvement but more of a distraction for the operator.
If you think the same way, then our new Mig 1400i might be the machine for you!
Mig 1400i
This unit is modeled after the classic transformer machines of the past. One dial for wire speed and another dial for voltage. Ok, we did give it a basic digital readout for accuracy, but NO fancy screens, NO hidden menus or fancy synergic functions that you almost have to have a degree in computer science to be able to use.
Also, this machine is MIG only, it is NOT a multi process machines, just the basic “good old Mig” welder that people love. We hope you will appreciate this “classic” approach. Under the hood the big old transformer had to go, sorry! Even though everyone loves dinosaurs and transformer Mig machines, I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but BOTH are extinct! Now under the hood you will find a modern, very small, lightweight and energy efficient high-tech inverter in its place. Designed and built by Stel in Italy, this unit performs like no other!
Many people (even some guys at HTP) believe that there is just not enough power in a 110 Volt outlet to make welding worthwhile – well, this machine proves them wrong! With a dedicated 120 Volt 20A outlet the Mig 1400i becomes a very powerful tool and it will surprise you with how smooth and virtually spatter free your welds will be. Powerful “later model technology” all wrapped up in a small package.
This machine offers premium performance inside and out, with simplicity in mind!
