Wire won't feed smoothly and sticks

From the first time, when feeding the .023 wire into the gun there is a section in the middle of the liner that is damaged in the middle of the cable. When actually trying to weld with a new contact tip, once the arc is initiated the wire sticks in the gun even though the wire feed drive roller never stops rotating. I purchased a new wire feed drive roller to make sure it wasn't the problem but it made no difference. The damage in the middle of the liner must be the problem. My old mig gun worked good I just wanted a longer cable. I put my old gun back on and everything works great.

    Second Flex Neck

We’ve been running one of these on a 120V Snapon Mig for a couple of years. The slip on tips and flex neck were great! After the nth time of the threaded tip getting stuck on my Miller 180 at the start of a new project where we needed the extra power ordering another HTP flex was a no brainer!
